I agree on some claims of this article but not all of them. Of course, a global sustainable change shouldn't be held by small organizations, activists but by CEO's. The problem is, as this article demonstrates, we cannot rely on their potential participation, as their goals are not the same. As a CEO, your objectives are very different than if you were a simple civilian. This article leads to a new question ; if the most responsible actors happen to be the least active in the ecology department ; what should the others do ? Every time we read a report about the past COP summits, we can see how general and imprecise the objectives and goals that are being set are. The result of the future COP27 should be impactful and direct changes, not just small agreements on what should be done. The title of this article could be automatically answered by a negative answer almost immediately unfortunately.
